DaedongRobotics has participated in the “Pilot Project for the Distribution of Repurposed Electric Vehicle Batteries,” led by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, contributing to sustainable solutions for challenges faced in rural communities.

This pilot project aims to address two key social challenges simultaneously: labor shortages in rural areas and the circular reuse of end-of-life electric vehicle batteries. DaedongRobotics joined the initiative with a focus on practical applicability in real agricultural environments.

In particular, the project is meaningful in that it helps mitigate unstable power supply issues and aging agricultural machinery in rural areas, while also realizing a carbon-neutral, circular regional economy by repurposing used EV batteries as energy resources.

Moving forward, DaedongRobotics plans to actively engage in a wide range of public and private partnerships, leveraging its technologies and solutions to address real-world challenges in rural areas and to help build a sustainable agricultural ecosystem.
