In 2010, a local corporation was founded in Rotterdam of the Netherlands, the largest port city in Europe, and in 2019, an office was opened in Hamburg for direct sales business in Germany, targeting the European market. The Europe corporation serves as the logistics base for the European market, exporting market-tailored tractors, parts and other agricultural machines to approximately 30 European countries through a strong dealer network.

Daedong AILab

Daedong AI Lab is a core subsidiary of the Daedong Group that promotes the transformation of all product lines into essentially AI robots so that Daedong and its affiliates can spearhead the AI transformation of the global market for agricultural robots. The Lab works on internalizing AI technology, and it prioritizes developing autonomous driving and robot AI systems. But in the mid- to long-term, the company will focus on developing AI foundation models, AI lightweighting based on NPU for robots, and cloud ML-Ops (machine learning operating system) independently. The Lab’s new technology will help Daedong launch its on-device AI business using SaaS (Software as a Service) in earnest, and by 2028, the company plans to develop robots in various fields such as agriculture, construction, etc. and establish a robot subscription service (Robot as a Service, RaaS) to evolve as a S/W company specializing in group AI.

Following the foundation of Daedong USA, Daedong became the first Korean agricultural machine company to found the Canada corporation in 2019, actively targeting the North American market, based in Mississauga, Ontario. The Canadian tractor market is around 21,000 units as of 2018 and KIOTI’s market share is around 7-8%. We have been increasing the loyalty and preference for the KIOTI brand by strengthening our relationship with existing dealers while also actively recruiting excellent local dealers.
