DaedongRobotics, the AI robotics subsidiary of Daedong Group, announced on the 26th the appointment of KANG SUNG CHUL, currently Vice President of DaedongMobility, as its new Chief Executive Officer.
This appointment comes at a pivotal moment as Daedong Group accelerates its transformation into a full-stack AI field robotics company and transitions from technology validation to full-scale commercialization. KANG is a robotics expert who has successfully led robotics development projects for 35 years across defense, medical, consumer electronics, and manufacturing industries at Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) and Samsung Electronics. He joined Daedong Mobility in April last year as Vice President of the Robotics Product Division. His deep expertise and strategic insight in robotics development are widely regarded as key assets for strengthening Daedong Group’s global robotics competitiveness.
Alongside his new role, KANG will continue to serve as Vice President of the Product Division at DaedongMobility, further strengthening group-wide synergies through the establishment of a robotics manufacturing foundry model.
